A little about our staff

                         

                         

                          Ms. Barbie / Lead Teacher

 

My name is Barbie Dion, I am 40 years old, and the proud mother of four great kids ages 16 to 20. I run a state  licensed home daycare/preschool in the city of Dracut, MA. I have been taking care of children in my home since November of 1999. I am Adult / Infant / Child CPR and First Aid certified and Educated in Early Childhood Curriculum and Development at The Lowell Technical High School. I am Currently attending Middlesex Community College majoring in Early Childhood Education.

In the past I have worked at many centers including 3 years of Supervised Student Teaching through the Greater Lowell Tech. I spent 2 Years as a Teacher’s Aide at Rocking Horse Daycare in their Toddler Room, as well as  2 Years Teaching at the Wang Daycare center in the 3 yr. old’s classroom.

                         

 

 

                          Ms. Kerry / Assistant Teacher

 

 

Kerry Puglia joined the Tenderhearts Family in February. Prior to joining us, she worked for the Lowell School Department as a bus monitor on the special needs busses for 14 years. She is a certified assistant through the Department of Early Education and Care. She holds a current certification in Adult / Infant / Child CPR and First Aid , and is working on getting her degree in Early Childhood.

 

We are a member of Bethel Child Care Services  which is a great support for local Daycare Providers. We really enjoy being a member of such a great group of Daycare Providers!
